coaching / instruction should ask themselves before committing.
What exactly am I buying?

• We believe that we offer excellent value for money on all our courses, activities and holidays.

• We trust the following will help you decide to choose us – or at least you will know what questions to ask! 

It is always difficult to compare providers by looking solely at their price although this is a very important consideration for most people when choosing an activity provider.

Our prices compare favourably with other reputable independent providers and some of the larger specialist centres.

•  Our advice is free. You can contact us without obligation anytime and we will advise you of the best course of action that suits you.

• We are always happy to discuss current plans or enquiries about future projects. 

• All our prices unless stated are for INSTRUCTION ONLY – this is what you are getting on your day(s) out.

• It includes an experienced knowledgeable instructor that is qualified to coach the activity at the level you are participating. It also includes all technical equipment (and some specialist clothing) that you require for the activity at no additional cost to you (excluding personal items). 

• Our prices reflect our professionalism and our commitment to safety (our number one priority). We carry insurance for all activities.

• We have ongoing professional development training for all our staff and associates.

• All staff are members of their respective professional associations and carry personal liability insurance.

• Our equipment store is second to none and all equipment is regularly checked in accordance with industry guidelines.

• Any additional hired in equipment is through reliable and vetted suppliers.

 We don’t cloud the view with all inclusive pricing- any accommodation booked through us is charged at cost. 

• Our days generally run from 08.30 to 17.30hrs as a minimum – we always maximise your activity time and don’t generally let the weather put us off unless it’s a safety issue. Sorry we don’t stop early for tea and cakes (unless you want to of course).

•  We have very low client/instructor ratios – generally for most courses its 1:2 or 1:3 so you get personal attention at all times maximising your learning experience and enjoyment. We never book courses up with 6 or 8 people that you don’t know and more importantly whose ability is unknown. 
  
   

• Our programmes generally run for 1,2, 3, and 5 days or over a weekend and our experienced instructors will take you through all aspects of the course programme at a pace that suits you.

• If you want to see or do something again that’s ok; its your agenda and were there to help you get the most out of it.

• We are extremely flexible and this is our strength. We don’t rigidly deliver the courses we want – we deliver what you want to learn.

• Our low ratios of instructor to students ensures that you get the very best learning experience and leave our courses with the key learning points firmly established.

 Our venues are varied and interesting and can be adapted to suit your requirements or aspirations. We don’t take you to our set venues and churn out the same old stuff. Venues are chosen to suit your experience and meet the aims of the course.

Whatever the course you choose we aim to give you the essential knowledge needed for those who wish to become safe and competent in their chosen activity.

 We can also provide bespoke courses (at no additional cost) on request to suit you or your group. Ask us for details? 

• We don’t generally include transport in our courses as it takes us into the territory of hire and reward, driver licensing and Operator Licensing.

• The majority of our clients seem to prefer the independence of their own transport.

• We can however arrange appropriate transport if necessary for pre-booked group activities or management training courses.

 Throughout all our courses you will have the opportunity to sample some excellent scenery and visit some of the remoter corners of our most popular hills.
