These courses are designed for the novice, irregular or intermittent hill walker that wants to do something a little more adventurous but lacks the confidence to stray off the beaten track.

Our venues are varied but generally the majority of our advanced courses run in the Lake District or Snowdonia due to their diverse terrain and easy access. We also run introductory novice weekends in the Yorkshire Dales with a more relaxed programme. Whatever the course you choose we aim to give you the vital experience needed for those who wish to become safe and competent hill walkers.

We can also provide bespoke courses on request to suit you or your group. We offer a very good group package deal for walking and mountaineering clubs (includes accommodation) based in the Lake District. Ask us for details?

Throughout all our courses you will have the opportunity to sample some excellent scenery and visit some of the remoter corners of our most popular hills.
